Welcome to Courageous Leadership

Welcome to Courageous Leadership 〰️

For as long as you can remember, you’ve known that you have what it takes to be a GREAT leader.

A calling inside you to drive change, support others, step up and bring your own gifts to the world through your work.

You may be leading a team (of one, or more), a project, a division or, as a natural leader among your work colleagues. You know that you are ready to step into your own power as a leader and into the next level of leadership, and you know that this next stage will call on you to share more of your voice and to be more visible.

But it’s not just about sharing more about what you know, and what you think.

It’s also about sharing more of who you are.

You’ve built a career that feels challenging and fulfilling to an extent, but you’ve secretly felt like one of the things getting in the way of what you want to do and how you want to lead (aside from many of the patriarchal structures in modern day workplaces…urgh) may just well be YOU. Because you know that you are silencing yourself in so many ways. You know that you have things to share, but you hold yourself back and question what you know, or if you are the ‘right person’ to speak up. You know that others see amazing leadership qualities in you, but deep down, you question if they reallllly know you, and you often feel like an imposter.

Here’s the thing.

If you want to trust your own voice, be visible and become a more courageous and confident leader, the secret is not learning more about leadership theory, but about who you are as a leader - in your humanness and wholeness.

This is your invitation to Courageous Leadership.

I know that a powerful combination of three key things will elevate your voice, visibility and leadership in 2024.

  1. You need the mindset and method for finding, strengthening and sharing your voice and elevating your visibility in your workplace;

  2. You need the support of other female leaders; and

  3. You need a coach who knows how to serve you at this level.

After coaching, supporting and speaking to thousands of women just like you, in my one-on-one offerings, workshops, keynote speaking and group programs with emerging leaders through to C-suite executives, I knew I wanted to support you in a group setting, alongside leaders who were outside your own organisation. People who you wouldn’t run into in the coffee room immediately after sharing your most vulnerable leadership moments.

A place where I get to combine being your coach, supporter, cheerleader, and wing woman with the extensive experience and support of a group of other leaders from outside of your organisation who are all on an incredible leadership journey too.

Add to that monthly training on topics like imposter complex, self-awareness as a leader, value-led leadership, public speaking and facilitation and more, and it makes for a unique experience that will catapult your leadership and completely transform the way you show up and share your voice at work.

This is it.

This is what you’ve been looking for.

About me

Hi, I’m Kate.

I’m an award-winning speaking and leadership coach, keynote speaker, facilitator and educator who supports courageous executives and entrepreneurs with finding their voice, getting visible and growing their careers by sharing their voice with the world.

Alongside my coaching and training business, I’m also a Senior Lecturer and qualitative researcher in Law and Policing (I’m not the boring kind of academic… promise) and I received my PhD in Forensic Criminology and Law in 2017. I’m the founder (and Director) of three other businesses, a parent to two kiddos (and we all know the skills involved in keeping small humans not only alive, but thriving!), the Head of Coaching and Co-Curator of TEDxHobart, and I’m married to a serial entrepreneur who is Founder and CEO of a professional services company.

What that means for you is that I bring an incredible unique perspective as a business owner, employee and leader in a number of industries and contexts (not just corporate) and that gives me the ability to support leaders from a huge variety of backgrounds and I bring ALL of this to my coaching, speaking, facilitation and training work.

My soul mission is pretty simple - I was put on this earth to have and facilitate courageous conversations with epic humans.

Those courageous conversations might happen while I’m helping you find your voice and step into leadership more confidently; while training policing officers to conduct investigative interviews and support victims in a trauma-informed way, or while being on the receiving end of any kind of conversation and knowing that nothing will ever be too much/weird/strange/confronting.

I’m serious when it counts, and approachable and silly when you need me to be, but you can guarantee that I am 100% in your corner, 100% of the time.

When you combine my signature framework, ‘The Courageous Speaking Method,’ with my unique working background and my coaching experience working with thousands of women just like you, you’ll find that there is no one better positioned to create and facilitate a program like this than me.

I can hand on heart say that I was put on this earth to do this work and to support you in this way.

What can I expect to walk away with after 6 months?

  • A deep understanding of your own voice, how to share it clearly and confidently and how to craft and present any speech or presentation for maximum impact.

  • Strategies and support around reframing and overcoming the imposter complex in a nuanced and highly specific way (this happens at all levels of leadership).

  • An ability to lead in alignment with your own values as a leader and a human being.

  • More courage and confidence with your public speaking and facilitation skills.

  • Mindset tools that you can call on time and time again to overcome limiting beliefs about yourself as a leader.

  • 6 months of incredible support, calling you into your next level of leadership, and the support of other amazing women who are all doing the same.

What do you get inside Courageous Leadership?

✨2 x 60-90 minute group coaching calls with me (Kate) every month in pods of 6 or less ✨

This is your opportunity to receive ‘hot seat’ coaching from me on the exact areas you need support in that moment, and this can be guided by our monthly theme if you prefer to deep dive into those areas. What does hot seat coaching mean? It means you each get to be coached personally on your own unique situation on every call, but you then get the benefit of hearing and supporting and learning from others in your call being coached as well. We’ll cover everything from mindset, strategy, presentation skills, imposter complex, values as a leader and more. You’ll also learn from your fellow incredible Mastermind sisters – their wins, action steps and strategies recommended for their roles. The impact of these group sessions? Powerful beyond measure.

✨ Access to The Courageous Speaker online course ✨

Access and life-time membership to my online, 6 module course, The Courageous Speaker. This course covers the mindset, meaning and method of great public speaking. You’ll keep access to this for the lifetime of The Courageous Speaker course, so you can return to the material well beyond your time in Courageous Leadership.

✨ Optional: one-on-one coaching sessions with Kate ✨

You have the opportunity to upgrade to four one-on-one coaching sessions with me if you want to further elevate your leadership and speaking experience over the six months. These can focus on a specific area, presentation, or the themes from Courageous Leadership.

✨ 6 x Monthly trainings with Kate ✨

A recorded training for you to tune into when it suits you where Kate takes you through the monthly theme and component of the mindset, meaning or method of courageous speaking, visibility and leadership.

✨ Daily support in a group Slack channel ✨

Dedicated coaching, accountability and celebration channels in an application called Slack where you can ask a question each day, if you need, so you can keep taking courageous action in your role/presentations/leadership each day. Slack allows you to write posts, use voice notes, upload files and more, and we’ll introduce to you this on our welcome call.

✨ Speech and presentation review ✨

Have to deliver a speech or presentation? Submit your ideas/structure each fortnight for a Loom video recorded feedback and support. Loom allows me to record my thoughts and coaching in real time, plus I can send any suggested edits by email.

✨ A community of like-minded, vulnerable women ✨

This is game changing. When you join Courageous Leadership, you don’t just get coaching and training from me, but the support and experience of other women, all on a leadership journey and passionate about their own, and your, personal and professional development.

When you fill out the application form, you are not locked into the program, and we can further discuss if this is right for you.

When are the coaching calls? +

Call times are TBC to maximise availability and will be chosen based on everyone in your call group's availability but we generally offer a lunch time call and an early evening call to suit various groups.

When does it start and end? +

The next intake will be at the beginning of October 2024, final dates TBC. It will run for 6 months, with 2 weeks offline over Christmas/New Year.

How much does the program cost? +

Prices begin at $625 per month, with additional 1:1 sessions on top of the group program also available for a higher price.

What is the level of leadership experience required? +

You do not have to lead a team in order to partipate in the program, but you do need to have some form of leadership experience over a project, division, or budget at least. Those with fairly similar leadership experience will be grouped together for their calls.

How do calls happen? +

Calls happen over Zoom, and will run for between 60-90 minutes, depending on questions and coaching for those in the group.

What if I can't make all calls? +

That's ok! You have daily coaching in Slack available to you and we know that there may be seasons or periods of time where you may not be able to show up as fully on calls as you'd like to. Business and life has its ebbs and flows, but this program will support you and you can thrive even if you can't make every single call. All calls are recorded, and so you can submit questions for the calls for me to answer, use your Slack space to ask coaching questions, jump onto the call to be coached first if you need to leave and replay calls for strategy and support at a later stage too.

I've joined the waitlist, now what? +

You will be the first to know when I open up places for the October 2024 cohort. These will open in July. If you would like a place in the next intake, you will be sent an application form and then invited to apply if we are a good fit.

If your application is approved, I will send over a link to sign up to the pay in full or payment plan option at that time.

Note : Application does not mean automatic entry.

Can this program be paid for through my company or employer's professional development (PD) budget?

Absolutely. I can send you information that will help you apply for this if you need. Get in touch with me at hello@katecashman.com and let me know that this is what you are after.

What if I still have questions? +
